Powered By AAA Batteries: The NEBO 6464 Lil Larry is powered by 3x AAA batteries; if the pen size light is too large for you, simply unscrew and remove the body of the flashlight that houses the third AAA battery; Now you insert 2x AAA batteries into the flashlight and screw on the magnetic base back on; This function make the light much more versatile and compact
